Diane stands for our community, for the truth and to take on issues that affect our neighborhoods and our residents. 

We need to reinvest in the middle class. During these tough times, it has been proven yet again that an investment in essential workers and first responders is a must. We must show that our priority is the people of Illinois.

Expanding access to affordable health care is a key focus. No one should be denied medical treatment and it shouldn’t bankrupt families. We need to provide health care for everyone, regardless of their financial circumstances. Protecting women's rights to critical health  services and the right to choose.  Ensuring medical decisions are private and between a patient and their medical provider. 

We need to focus on bringing manufacturing back to the United States with good high paying jobs with benefits and we need to address the truck driver shortage that has resulted from low wages and grueling work. Jobs that pay properly will find workers to fill positions.  Strengthening public schools and investing in vocational education by expanding access to skilled trades training.
